Bounce Big is a game about getting as big and bouncy as you can. It’s partially an obstacle-avoiding auto-runner, partly a collect-’em-up, and partly all about jumping on a squishy pad and firing people into the air. It’s fun, but it can be tough as well.
Don’t worry if you’ve been finding the game tricky though, because that’s what we’ve written this strategy guide for. Here you’re going to find all of the tips, tricks and cheats you’re going to need to take your game to the next level.
If you’ve been playing the game for a while or you’re just starting out on your Bounce Big journey, there’s going to be something here that’ll revolutionize your play. These are, after all, the five best hints, tips and cheats for Bounce Big. Bish bash bosh.
Aim for perfection
When you’re flying over the bounce pad, you want to aim for the perfect section each and every time. When your reticule is over it, tap the screen to drive yourself down. This is going to give your new character the biggest boost possible, which is exactly what you want.
You should always try and grab the fat pellets scattered on the floor of the levels. Grab enough and you’ll get a boost. Plus, the heavier you are, the more power you’re going to put into your downward smashes and the bigger the boost you’re going to give to the next character to take over.
Watch the obstacles
Keep an eye on how the obstacles in front of you are moving. Get the timing right and you’ll be able to slip through. This is particularly important with the gates that move up and down. If one’s just gone down, aim for that one to slip through when it moves back up again. It’s all about timing.
What are the stars for?
We couldn’t find any use for the stars. You get them at the end of every level you complete, and you can watch a video to earn more. There doesn’t seem to be anything you can spend them on, and they don’t seem to have any effect on the game itself. It’s definitely not worth watching the videos to get more.
The arrows are your competitors
You might notice two arrows on either side of the screen while you’re playing. They may look like controls, but actually they’re just showing you where the other two competitors are in the race. In all honesty, it’s best not to pay too much attention to them. So long as you get all of your moves right, you’re going to finish the race first.
